Dog Boarding and Daycare in My Home
  • Dogs must be social with children, men, women and other dogs.
  • Puppies are always welcome as I can socialize him/her for you.
  • Must be up to date on all Vaccines-Rabies, Distemper Combo, including Bordetella.  Proof from veterinarian must be provided to Pet Passions.
  • To avoid exposing other dogs to a contagious disease, your dog must be or have been vetted at least ten days prior to boarding or daycare.
  • Must be on Heartworm and Flea & Tick Preventatives, preferably Frontline or Advantix. Please do not use flea or tick collars while here. Must be completely free of fleas and ticks at time of arrival.
  • Fecal test must be done one year to ten days prior to daycare or boarding date.  Proof from veterinarian must be provided to Pet Passions.
  • Must be completely free of any contagious diseases/illnesses, including but not limited to kennel cough, skin diseases (mange etc.), colds (respiratory infections) and parasites.
  • Must be in good health unless other arrangements are agreed upon in advance.  There may be additional charges depending on time required to care for your pet.  We do administer medications.
  • Prior to any service that will take place in my home; you and your dog/s are asked to come meet the Pet Passions Pack.
  • You are responsible for providing your pet’s food and treats. If Pet Passions must purchase additional quantities for your pet, payment must be reimbursed to Pet Passions upon your return.
  • Although we have plenty of bedding for your pet/s, we suggest that you bring their own to help them acclimate to their new surroundings.
  • Please make sure your dog is wearing an ID Tag.
  • It is your (owner’s) responsibility to pay for any damages in my home caused by your pet.  All the rooms that your dog/s will have access to have been minimized and are free of any dangerous or valuable objects.  In some cases however, dogs have been known to jump gates or climb and get to things. Some chew bedding, blankets, crates, furniture etc.
  • We do not board dogs with aggressive tendencies or a bite history.
  • Charges will begin to accrue at the agreed drop off time whether you are on time or not.
Overnight or Daily Visits in Your Home
  • A meeting must take place in your home prior to the sitting date. There is no charge for this first meeting.  Due to some pet’s lack of socialization, additional meetings may need to take place.  Service fee will be rendered for each additional meeting.
  • Your dog/s-cat/s must be up to date on all their Vaccines-Rabies, Distemper. Proof from veterinarian must be provided to Pet Passions.

  • Pet must be in good health unless other arrangements are agreed upon in advance. There may be additional charges depending on the extent of the care involved.

  • Your pet must not have any aggressive tendencies. We will not put ourselves in danger in order to enter your home.
  • You are responsible for providing your pet's food, treats, toys, leashes, collars, kitty litter….. If Pet Passions must purchase additional quantities for your pet, payment must be reimbursed to Pet Passions upon your return.
  • Please make sure your dog/cat is wearing an ID Tag.
  • We have five dogs that are trained and socialized to accompany me to your home for playtime with your dog at your request-one or two at a time.
  • We cannot subject our safety to serious weather conditions. In times of blizzard like conditions you will have the option to have me bring your dog to my home.  Additional charges for boarding and pet taxi service will accrue.
  • Prior to our arrival, it is your responsibility to have a pathway cleared of ice or hardened snow from the area we park our vehicles to the door we will be entering.  If we cannot reach the entryway safely due to icy conditions and no cleared pathway you will still be responsible for 100% payment for that day’s service.
Surcharges
  • Additional charges for Early Drop Offs or Late Pick Ups (see Services and Prices Page).
  • $10 Surcharge for any and each service required before 7a.m. or after 7 p.m.
  • Bad Check-$35.00
  • Driving distance over 20 miles round trip-$1 for each extra mile over 20.
  • Holidays-varies depending on service (see Services and Prices page).
Special Pricing/Discounts
  • Discounts available for vacations over one week and scheduled ongoing care.
  • Discounts available for four or more Daycare visits within a month. Must be scheduled and paid for in advance.
Payment and Refund Policy
  • We accept payments in the form of local checks, cash, Discover, Mastercard and Visa. A 4% handling fee will be added to the total service charge for credit card payments (max $20).
  • Vacation of one week or more-Deposit of half the total to be rendered at time of booking to hold dates. Balance must be paid in full upon return.
  • Visits and Walks-To be Paid in Full on Date of Service.
  • Daycare To be Paid in Full on Date of Service. Discounts available for four or more daycare visits in one month, scheduled and paid in advance. No refunds-rescheduling within same month only.
  • No Charge for first “Meeting”. The charge for each additional meeting including key pick-up will be $10.
  • No refund on 25% of TOTAL SERVICE CHARGE for vacation boarding or overnight care in your home if canceled in less than 7 days prior to service date. This will be deducted from deposit and balance remaining will be mailed to you. If a deposit was not rendered you will be billed.
  • No refund on TOTAL SERVICE CHARGE (100%) of sitting visits if canceled on date of service.
  • Your early return will still be billed at 100% of the original, total charge for ANY scheduled service.
  • If we cannot reach the entryway safely due to icy conditions and no cleared pathway you will still be responsible for 100% payment for that day.
  • Out of state customers must pay by cash or credit card only.
Health Issues and Injuries
  • Veterinary charges will NOT be reimbursed by Pet Passions for contagious ailments such as kennel cough, parasites and others.  Also not reimbursable are vet bills due to scrapes, minor cuts, bruises, minor injuries or any injuries which occur during dog play such as running, wrestling etc. Pet Passions will not be held responsible for the death or decline in health of a dog in our care, unless it is due to our negligence.
  • If the need arises while your pet is in our care, we will take him/her to the nearest veterinarian for treatment of illness or injury.
  • Your pets are covered under our insurance when in our care.  Coverage is for injury due to our negligence only.





We reserve the right to deny service at our own discretion.
